Karachi: 12 more banned outfit men arrested

KARACHI: As many as 12 more members of banned outfits have been arrested by Rangers, as a result of the crackdown against criminal elements in Karachi, Aaj News reported on Thursday.

According to the officials of Sindh Rangers, a search operation has been conducted by  the paramilitary troops in Ittehad Town locality of Karachi’s Baldia Town and arrested a dozen members of different outlawed groups.

Weapons were also recovered from their possession reportedly.

It is pertinent to know that the PM and army chief General Raheel Sharif were briefed by top security official on the ongoing operation in Karachi at a high-level meeting took place yesterday.
