Imran following politics of non-issues: Saad

LAHORE: Pakistan Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf was practising politics of non-issues.

Talking to media after a seminar at Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industries here Saturday, he said that it was a psychological issue of PTI Chief Imran Khan more than political, adding that failed rallies would expose his (Imran’s) popularity among the people.

He said the PPP and PML-N had learnt a lot from politics of non-issues two decades ago but Imran was not ready to learn anything from past.

Saad rejected the allegation the government was creating hurdles in the way of rally and said all political parties were free to stage protest but no one could be allowed to shatter law and order situation.

He said that Imran should listen to his party’s senior leader instead of Sheikh Rashid who was instigating him.
