Govt-Taliban negotiations contain difficulties: Prof Ibrahim

ISLAMABAD: Over the progress in government-Taliban dialogue process, JI leader and member Taliban negotiating committee, Professor Ibrahim has again expressed his views, saying that they are facing problems in the talks, Aaj News reported on Saturday.

While talking to the media, Prof Ibrahim said that that the committee is trying to take the dialogues ahead despite facing difficulties in the process.

Regarding the dissolution of government committee, Prof Ibrahim said that government has the authority over its committee.  The Taliban committee will continue to strive for the success of the dialogue process despite unfavorable situation.

The venue and time for the next meeting will soon be decided as the govt is constantly in contact with the Taliban, he added.
