KARACHI: Director General (DG), Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, Major Gen Rizwan Akhtar visited SITE Association, here on Tuesday and met its members.
The DG Rangers reviewed the progress on Anti-Encroachment Drive launched in SITE and praised the members of SITE association, civil administration and Rangers in vacating acres of encroached land, said a statement.
Members of the Association also praised Rangers in establishing a security zone by deploying security guards and constant monitoring of the area.
It has been learnt that crime rate is significantly gone down in the area. The DG Rangers assured of his full support to the business community and said that every citizen should have full confidence on Rangers actions and share any information which can lead to arrest of criminals.
He also stressed that they all should work as a team and all unhealthy trends or efforts by anyone in SITE must be eradicated and resisted with the support of Rangers.
