David Gulpilil wins best actor award in Canned Film Festival

Australian actor David Gulpilil has won the best actor award at the Cannes Film Festival for his performance in Rolf Heer’s Charlie’s County.

The film in which he performed is about an older Indigenous man who lived his life in a unique and traditional way.

He also played high profile roles in several other movies including Crocodile Dundee (1886), Ten Canoes (2006) and Australia (2008).

It is pertinent to know that David Gulpilil has been sent to alcohol rehabilitation center, whereas David Gulpilil wants to join back the Industry to make movies.
