Curfew continues, main routes intercepted for second day in NW

MIRANSHAH: All the main routes in North Waziristan were closed down by the security officials, whereas the curfew imposed a day ago continued for the second day, Aaj News reported.

According to the reports, Curfew, which was imposed a day before yesterday, blocking all the main routes of North Waziristan, continued today. The curfew imposed areas included, Bannu, Miranshah road, Razmik road, Gulam Khan road, Data Khel and Tal Mir Ali road.

Meanwhile, all intermediate exams were declared postponed after the announcement of the curfew, whereas many people traveling from the main routes of North Waziristan at the time of the announcement of the curfew were forcefully stuck.

On the other hand, a low intensity blast occurred outside a house located in South Waziristan, Tehsil Wana area, due to which one person, identified as Baitullah was reported injured. He was immediately shifted to the nearest hospital.

The blast damaged one side of the house and a car parked outside the house. The police sources revealed that the damages were not huge, whereas after the blast the security officials cordoned off the area and started a search operation.
