Court adjourns Musharraf’s treason case hearing till June 3

ISLAMABAD: On request of the prosecution, a special court put off the hearing of Former president Pervez Musharraf’s treason case hearing till June 3, 2014, Aaj News reported on Friday.

According to the reports, the special court headed by Justice Faisal Arab resumed hearing of the case here. Prosecution lawyer Naseeruddin Nayer sought more time from the court to fulfill its earlier orders regarding providing FIA report and other documents to the defence lawyers.

Prosecution will now be held responsible for delay in proceedings of the case, Justice Arab remarked.

Later, the court adjourned hearing till June 3, 2014.
