Case against the rape attempt of seven-year-old girl not registered yet

KARACHI: Case against the rape attempt of a seven-year-old girl, who is a resident of Karachi, Gulistan-e-Johar area, has not been registered yet, Aaj News reported.

According to the reports, the Duty Officer, who was in-charge of registering the specified case against the accused, asked the victim’s mother for a case registering fee, which accounted Rs. 1000. The duty officer after collecting the accounted fee escaped from the scene without registering the case.

The victim, who is a seven-years-old girl, is a resident of Gulistan-e-Johar, Block-19, whereas the accused is claimed to be the victim’s neighbor, The accused took the seven-year-old girl, named Arisha with him in his car after which he tried to assault her. But fortunately, the parent’s of the girl reached to the incident site on time and rescued the girl for the accused.

The parent’s of the victim wind up at Shahrah-e-Faisal police station to register a case against the accused, where the mother of the victim handed over Rs 1000 to the Duty Officer as a case registration fee.

The mother of the victim claimed that the accused, identified as Mansoor does not possess a good fame and popularity in the area, whereas she also claimed that Mansoor’s mother tried to thrash her, after she got to know that she is registering a case against his son.

Meanwhile, the victim was also taken to Jinnah Hospital, where the Lady Medico-legal Officer, Doctor Naseem revealed that the victim was tried for a forceful attempt, as the marks on her body proves the parent’s claims.
