Bank looted in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Unknown armed men looted more than Rs 1.9 million from a private bank at Station Road here on Monday.

The bandits also shot and injured bank’s security guard, Ghulam Qadir and fled after taking along the looted money. Ghulam Qadir was shifted to Civil Hospital Hyderabad where his condition was said to be critical.

Talking to APP, PRO to SSP Hyderabad Mazahar Shani said that SSP Hyderabad has formed a committee to investigate the bank robbery.

The committee comprises in-charge CIA, DSP and other senior police officials. The committee will be headed by SP Head Quartz Hyder Raza.
