Army Chief calls on Prime Minister

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif here at the PM House on Thursday.

The Army Chief briefed the Prime Minister about the security situation in Karachi, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA.

General Raheel Sharif also shared with the Prime Minister the details of today’s terror attacks in Miran Shah, Waziristan where nine valiant soldiers embraced Shahadat.

The Prime Minister expressed his grief over the loss of precious lives of Pakistan Army soldiers and said, “the sacrifices by our patriotic soldiers will not go in vain.”

The Prime Minister also congratulated the Army Chief and the nation on the successful training launch of the short range surface to surface Ballistic Missile Hatf III (Ghaznavi).
