TTP shura seeks two days for resuming talk’s process: Prof. Ibrahim

PESHAWAR: Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim member of the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) nominated committee Monday said that TTP political shura has asked for two days for consultation over negotiation process with the government.

Talking to media here, He said that Maulana Yousaf Shah has contacted Taliban Shura and they will submit their reply within a day or two. He said that the government team had asked him for making contact with Taliban.

Professor Ibrahim said that the government and TTP dialogue committees will meet Taliban Shura in tribal areas and venue will be decided within two days.

He said that the negotiators are waiting for response of Taliban shura and will meet them on receiving it. He said that agenda of talks is peace, thus, ceasefire from both sides is necessary to continue the dialogue process.

He said that detailed demands should be presented this time to move ahead in the talks.
