Thar: Two more children die in drought-hit areas

THARPARKAR: Two more children passed away today on Friday in the drought-hit areas of Tharparkar, whereas the total number of people who lost their lives has reached up to 236, Aaj News reported.

According to the sources, a three-month-old boy named Mohammad Gul, who was a resident of Chacharo, Nehrio Village and a three-month-old girl, named Deepa, who was a resident of Maharaj Colony were declared expired today in the morning.

On the other hand, the authorities of Civil Hospital Muthi revealed that total 107 patients including 95 children are admitted here, who are currently under treatment.

Furthermore, the authorities revealed that two patients belongs to Diplo, 38 belongs to Islamkot, seven belongs to Nangarpar and four children are from Chacharo.

Meanwhile, the residents of the drought-hit areas are migrating to another facilitating location, whereas 25,070 families are still awaited for their aid compensation.
