RECORDER REPORT: KSE closes at high record

KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Wednesday having 29458.15 shares with a positive change of 362.38 and volume of 279,015,990 shares.

High and Low were 29474.77 and 29095.77 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 391,632,280 shares with 380 total traded companies out of which 205 were up, 144 were down and 31 were unchanged.

Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 167,599,300 shares. It was followed by Financial Services with a total traded volume of 40,782,000 shares.

The three top traded companies were Jah.Sidd. Co. with a volume of 33,493,500 and price per share of 13.59 (0.55), NIB Bank Limited with a volume 33,361,500 of price per share of 2.81 (0.22), JS Bank Ltd with a volume 20,637,500 of price per share of 6.66 (0.56).

The top three advancers were Rafhan Maize XD with price per share 10951.50 (521.50), Philip Morris Pak. with price per share of 740.59 (35.26) and Nestle Pak. XD share of 8111.00 (33.49).

The top three decliners were Bata (Pak) SPOT with price per share of 3302.92 (-96.98), Sanofi-Aventis SPOT with price per share of 1019.72 (-53.08) and Siemens Pakistan per share of 1264.70 (-25.20).
