Not much progress in peace talks: Prof. Ibrahim

Peshawar: Prof Ibrahim, member of the Taliban committee conceded that there was not much progress in the talks and the process had seen a sort of suspension, Aaj News reported on Saturday.

While talking to the media, Ibrahim has expressed the hope that a suspension in talks between the government and the TTP would end soon.

He said that efforts are underway for the next phase of peace between Government and Taliban Shura. However, the venue for the meeting could not be decided due to some trouble and confusion from the both sides.

He further added that no development has taken place so far in the peace talk process; there should not be any delay in talks.
