MQM to stage peaceful protest against killing today

KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) will hold a peaceful protest outside the Karachi Press Club today (Thursday) against the ‘extra judicial killings and forced disappearances’ of its workers, Aaj News reported.

According to the reports, Deputy Convener and members of Rabita Committee, families of victims, MQM workers and party supporters will attend the protest demonstration which will be held at 4:00 pm at KPC.

The MQM has appealed to the people to attend the protest demonstration. The party has also planned a protest on Friday (tomorrow).

It has to be mentioned here that earlier MQM leader Haider Abbas Rizvi demanded from the government to take immediate legal action against plain-clothed individuals who have been abducting MQM workers and then torturing them.
