Lahore: Following the Tahir plaza incident occurred on 9th April, 2008 in Karachi in which several lawyers of Karachi were burnt alive, the lawyers of Lahore High Court are observing black day today, Aaj News reported.
According to the reports, Lawyers are entering in the courts with having black folds on their hands and black flags are being flying on the courts.
In this regard, Lahore High Court Bar Association has arranged a General House Conference as well.
It is pertinent to know that on April 9, 2008, terrorists had set an office of a lawyer Altaf Abbasi advocate at Tahir Plaza on fire, which resulted in the death of the lawyer and his five clients including a woman. Another lawyer, Shehryar Sherry was also killed by terrorists in a co-ordinate attack on the same day.
