Lahore: Unannounced load shedding increases with the arrival of summer season


Lahore: Unannounced load shedding has been started in the main province of Pakistan, Punjab with the start of the summers due to which businesses started to destroyed and people have to face trouble in their daily chores, Aaj News reported.

As the weather has changed in the country, loadshedding in Punjab especially in Lahore has become severe. In different areas of the Provincial Capital, Lahore an hourly load shedding was taking place after every hour. Due to which, females have to face problems in their daily chores.

Unannounced load shedding has been started in the main province of Pakistan Punjab with the start of the summers due to which businesses started to destroyed due to the power problems and people have to face trouble in their daily chores, Aaj News reported.

As the weather has changed in the country, loadshedding in Punjab especially in Lahore has become severe. In different areas of the Provincial Capital, Lahore an hourly load shedding was taking place after every hour. Due to which, females have to face problems in their daily chores.

Prolonged hours of load shedding also caused water shortage and tube-wells stopped working, adversely affecting the agricultural lands.

According to NTDC officials, country’s electricity generation capacity was 9300MW and the total requirement was around 11,500MW, increasing the shortfall to 2200.
