Kashmore: Forced explosion occurred near a gas pipeline


KASHMORE: A 24-inch-diameter, gas pipeline was forcefully exploded near the border area of Balochistan and Sindh, Tangwani area, due to which the gas supply was suspended in many different areas of Balochistan and Sindh, Aaj News reported.

According to the sources, a 24-inch-diameter gas pipeline was forcefully exploded in Tangwani area, due to which gas supply has been suspended in different areas of Balochistan and Sindh, whereas the authorities said that it could take maximum 24 hours to repair this gas pipeline.

The high intensity explosion completely damaged the gas pipeline en routed towards Sindh, due to which maximum areas of Sindh will suffer shortage of gas supply.

Police and rescue teams arrived at the incident site immediately after the incident, after which the repair of the gas pipeline was started.

On the other hand, security forces have cordoned off the area and have started a search operation. SUI Southern Gas Company authorities claimed that the repair of the gas pipeline have been started, whereas this repair work will be completed in maximum 24 hours.
