Karachi: Prolonged Loadshedding irks people’s lives

KARACHI: People across the country including Karachi continue to suffer due to prolonged power outages amid scorching heat in the city, Aaj News reported.

According to the reports, major commercial areas of the city including Liaquatabad, Malir, Azizabad, Paposh Nagar, North Karachi, Orangi and others have been facing up to 12-hour loadshedding with no letup in the hot weather.

The residents of various areas of the city such as Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Johar, Garden East, North Nazimabad and other high class residential areas even don’t know that ‘What is loadsheddin and power outages’? They do not have any complain regarding loadshedding.

Most of the residents of loadshedding affected areas asked to the govt, why KESC always targets the above mentioned areas, why does it always make their lives frustrated? The govt must think over this issue.

On the other hand, KESC concedes that sometimes the duration of power outages could increase due to technical faults in some areas. But now it does not seem any technical fault, as the prolonged loadshedding has become the routine of people which has irked their lives completely.
