Karachi: One of the most wanted Lyari gangsters was killed by police during police operation in Kimari, Aaj News reported.
The gangster, Mullah Nazir, now dead, reportedly had the blood of at least 200 people on his hands.
According to SSP South, Nasir Aftab, following credible intelligence, police swooped upon Mullah Nazir, at his hideout in Shirin Jinnah Colony and trapped him.
“Nazir, who was armed to the teeth, tried to shoot his way out, but the raiding cops fired back killing him then and there”, said he.
Nazir was also one of notorious Lyari gang lord Uzair Baloch’s close aides.
According to the reports, the police could supposed to give a price of Rs. 25 lakh to that person will would be handed over that gangster to the police.
Police also claimed to have found two hand grenades after searching the dead gangster thoroughly.
