Islamabad: The anti-terrorism court in Islamabad, which was hearing the judges’ detention case against former military dictator Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf, ordered him to appear in person at its next hearing (25th April), Aaj News reported.
The judges detention case was heard by the ATC Judge Atiq-ur-Rehman. He asked about the appearence of Former Army Chief Pervez Musharraf in today’s hearing.
The court moreover directed Musharraf’s guarantors to ensure the former president’s production in its next hearing.
During the proceedings, Musharraf’s counsel presented the ex-army strongman’s medical report and said he could not appear in court due to security reasons.
The court accepted Musharraf’s application requesting exemption from today’s hearing and adjourned the next hearing of the case to April 25.
