Hearing of Benazir Bhutto’s murder case delayed till April 12


RAWALPINDI: Hearing of Benazir Bhutto’s murder case has been delayed till April 12, due to the absence of the Judge appointed in the Special Court to hear the case and Prosecutor Chaudary Azhar, Aaj News reported.

According to the sources, Pervez Ismail, a Judge appointed in the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) to hear Benazir Bhutto’s murder case was absent during the hearing, whereas Prosecutor Chaudary Azhar did not attended the hearing, because of inadequate security measures.

It is pertinent to know that the hearing of Benazir Bhutto’s murder case is being heard in the ATC Court under terrorism act, whereas the case is being heard in Adiala Jail under the supervision of Judge Pervez Ismail.
