Government to resolve Balochistan issues on priority: President

QUETTA: President Mamnoon Hussain Tuesday said that the federal government was putting serious efforts to resolve Balochistan issues on priority.

“Presently, positive changes can be witnessed in Balochistan, thanks to the policies and efforts of the incumbent government.”

He was talking to Chief Minister Balochistan, ministers and parliamentarians here at the airport on his arrival.

All the problems faced by Balochistan would be resolved and the situation would improve soon, he added. President Mamnoon Hussain is scheduled to hold meetings with different delegations of political, tribal and social leaders at the Governor House.

The president, along with Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions, General (retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch, Senior Balochistan Minister for Works and Communications and PML-N Balochistan chapter chief, Sardar Sanaullah Khan Zehri had arrived at Quetta International Airport.

He was accorded warm welcome by Chief Minister Balochistan, Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, Deputy Speaker Balochistan Assembly, Abdul Quddoos Bezinjo, Home Minister, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, Provincial Minister for Information, Abdul Raheem Ziaratwal, Provincial Minister for Planning and Development and senior leader of Pashtoonkhawa Milli Awami Party, Dr Hamid Khan Achakzai, Chief Secretary Balochistan, Babar Yaqoob Fateh Muhammad and senior military and civil officials.
