LAHORE: Legendary cricketer and former captain of Pakistani cricket team, Wasim Akram’s father expired in Lahore after suffering a prolonged illness, Aaj News reported.

According to the sources, Wasim Akram’s father, Chaudary Muhammad Akram was suffering from a prolonged illness in Lahore.

The burial ceremonies have not yet been decided, whereas the particular decisions will be taken after Wasim Akram’s arrival in Lahore from United Arab Emirates (UAE).

It is pertinent to know that Wasim Akram is currently associated as a bowling consultant of Indian Premier League (IPL-7) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
