Ceasefire is mandatory for successful negotiation: Ibrahim


PESHAWAR: The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) intermediary Professor Muhammad Ibrahim on Thursday said that the peace talks will not be successful without a ceasefire, Aaj News reported.

While talking to the media, Prof Ibrahim said that the they will contact the government regarding the TTP concerns which have come forward through the media. He reiterated that they will meet the TTP leadership to persuade them to extend the ceasefire.

He further added that ceasefire is necessary for the peace talk. Without ceasefire, the negotiation between Govt and Taliban Shura would not be successful.
