KARACHI: Patron-in-Chief, Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said martyred soldiers are our true national heroes who laid down their lives for our integrity, survival and bright future.
“Let us draw our lines clear. Our martyrs are our real heroes and those who are casting aspersions on their sacrifices should be exposed and disowned,” he said in a statement here on Wednesday.
PPP Chief, while paying glowing tributes to the martyrs on youm-e-shuhda, said Pakistan as a nation needs to glorify our heroes who offered blood and life for our future generations. Men who die in the line of duty for defending the homeland and their families need to be treated with distinction in society and voices of vice against them be declared intolerable.
He said every Pakistani and PPP worker is in complete solidarity with our soldiers fighting against the monster of terrorism.
It is time to sideline the elements who created, encouraged and promoted extremism and terrorism under the martial law regimes, he added.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed sympathy with the families of each and every martyr on youm-e shuhda and assured them that Jiyalas of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto will continue to fight for their dignity and well-being.
