Afghan Cricket team arrives at Karachi Airport

KARACHI: Afghan team arrived at Karachi Airport today for the 14-days training session of cricket offered by Pakistan team, whereas there were no authorities of Pakistan Cricket Board to receive the team at the airport, Aaj News reported.

According to the reports, a team comprising of 20 players and eight officials landed at Karchi Airport today, but the PCB authorities were not there to receive the team, whereas the sources revealed that the Afghan team, led by Captain Muhammad Nabi, was en routed on a private jet.

Furthermore, the sources revealed that the former Captain and Wicket Keeper of Pakistan Cricket team, Rashid Latif and Aamir Sohail will teach the Afghan team players with the techniques of playing a successful match on the field.

Afghan team Captain and players at their arrival did not presented any comments, whereas the sources revealed that the visit of Afghan team in Pakistan is because of the participation of the team in 2015 World Cup series.
