KARACHI: Supreme Court on Thursday ordered the immediate appointment of IG Sindh without any further delay, Aaj News reported

The Supreme Court expressed concern over DG Rangers Statement that it had limited authority, saying that Police and the Rangers were not on the same page.
Ranger’s laywer informed the court that only 11 prosecutors were present in the city and as much as 517 criminals had been released due to lack of evidence. Justice Ameer Hani remarked that without evidence, the court could not indict those criminals.
Chief Justice when asked about the incident that occured in Lyari ten days back, in reply to which interim IG Sindh informed the court that sixteen people were killed in several bomb attacks in Jhatpat Market.
