ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for SAFRON, Lt General (Retd), Abdul Qadir Baloch has said that Pakistan is working on strengthening relations with neighbouring and regional countries.
He said that Pakistan is not sending troops to any country.
Talking to Pakistan Television (PTV), he said that there is no truth on sending troops to other countries for any purpose, adding that Pakistan wants friendly relations with all the neighboring countries besides regional and Arab countries.
He said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), government will not compromise on the matters of national interest.
He said that all out efforts are being made to put the country on path of progress.
Minister said that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure peace, progress and prosperity in all parts of the country.
Replying to a question regarding Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline project, he said that delay of the project would not lessen the decades old relations with Pakistan. He said that Pakistan hold good relations with Iran and Arab countries.
To another question Abdul Qadir Baloch said that every Pakistani likes and respects the sacred places in Iran, Iraq, Syria and Saudi Arabia.
