ISLAMABAD: Professor Dr Muhammad Khan has said Pakistan and European Union have been enjoying cordial relations in agriculture, socio-economic, education and energy sectors.
Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said EU has invested in Higher Education of Pakistan and scholarships are being provided to Pakistani students.
He said EU is supporting Pakistan to get energy from alternate resources like solar and wind energy.
“Some initiatives have been taken in Pakistan but focus is still on hydro power projects”, he stated.
Solar energy projects can be launched in Sindh and coastal areas of the country and EU can provide necessary financial and technical aid in this regard.
