MUTHI: One more person was reported dead, who belonged to the drought-hit area of Tharparkar, whereas the distribution of goods have not been made possible in the drought-hit areas yet, Aaj News reported.
According to the sources, the person who was reported dead was earlier declared critical and was being shifted to Karachi from Muthi Civil Hospital, but unfortunately the patient was declared expired during the journey.
Altogether, 174 deaths have been reported, whereas the District Health Officer of Tharparkar, Abdul Jaleel claims that there have been only 127 reported deaths. Meanwhile the doctors claims that 182 people including 68 children are under treatment in the Civil Hospital onf Muthi
On the other hand, the distribution of goods have not been made possible for the second day. According to the District Food Control Officer, Karim Dad Jonijo, he said that the distribution process is being affected due to the shortage of wheat supply.
