LAHORE: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), Ch Barjees Tahir has said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has raised the credibility of the country abroad through his government’s economic and trade policies.
He was addressing a public gathering at the final of Kabaddi tournament at Ali Abad, Nankana Sahib on Sunday.
The minister said that the Prime Minister’s successful visit of the International Nuclear Conference and the international support of Pakistan’s resolution against drone attacks in the United Nations were a vivid proof the government’s success.
He said the country was faced with many challenges when the PML-N government took over and provided relief to the masses by adopting sound economic policies.
Barjees Tahir said the government was committed to raise the standard of living of people and enhance country’s status internationally.
