Multan: A student of First year, aged 18 years succumbed from the burning injuries she contracted from splitting oil in front of Bait Mir Hazar Police Station after knowing that the culprits who assaulted her were released by the police, whereas no inductions were charged against them.
According to the sources, a girl who is a resident in Muzzafargarh was gang-raped on 5th January in regard to which she and her family registered a case against the culprits. On the other hand, the police released the culprits without charging them, due to which the girl burned himself by splitting oil in front of Bait Mir Hazar Police station.
After the incident, she was immediately shifted to the Nishtar hospital in the emergency ward, where she was declared critically injured and then was declared expired.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif showed his grieving concerns regarding the case.
