ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Pakistan Ulema Council, Allama Tahir Ashrafi, while addressing a news conference in National Press Club said that the Govt. officials should also be a part of the negotiation talks with Taliban’s, Aaj News reported.
While addressing a news conference, Allama Tahir said that the Govt. should immediately construct a National Policy regarding the elimination of terrorism. Allama Tahir also mentioned that we have already warned the Govt. about the migration of militants under the supervision of Afghan security agencies. The groups of these militants are not in favor of deriving peace within the country.
He also mentioned that except Taliban’s, there are some groups of foreign militants who are still not known, due to which the Govt. needs to construct a National Policy to control these groups.
Furthermore, he mentioned that the peace talks would be of no use , if terrorism activities within the country does not come to an end. He asked all Govt. officials for their participation in the peace talks and to direct the talks vis-a-vis.
Additionally, Allama Tahir said that to make these talks successful, both Govt and Taliban committee’s should release the prisoners and abducted people respectively and even demanded Taliban’s to return the dead bodies of 23 FC personnel’s.
