ISLAMABAD: A joint meeting between the committees, representing Taliban and Government will be held today, Aaj News reported.
Professor Ibrahim expressed his confidence on the Interior Minister, adding that his sincerity cannot be doubted and hoped for the dialogue to succeed.
According to sources, Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan has called on both the Committees for the meeting at the federal capital.
During the Joint session, location and time for the talks with Taliban will be decided.
The Taliban Committee will be asked to identify those groups, still carrying out terror attacks despite the ceasefire whereas the demand relating to the release of the non-combatant prisoners will be reviewed.
Professor Ibrahim, member of the Taliban Committee hoped that decisions regarding the venue for the meeting with Taliban would be taken in today’s meeting.
