Balochistan: Six people dies from extensive rainfall


QUETTA: Six people were reported dead in different parts of Balochistan from extensive rainfall which started from March 22, Aaj News reported.

According to the sources, six people were reported dead from the incidents of roof collapse in Quetta, Loralai and Charsadda, whereas the rainy water caused floods in different parts of the city. The speedy water entered into the coal mine located at Shahrag area, due to which four workers were drowned, out of which the bodies of two workers have been recovered, whereas two bodies are still missing.

On the other hand, one person was reported dead by grasping current forced by the lightning, whereas one child was reported dead and two other children and their father sustained injuries from a roof collapse in Somnat area.

Due to the extensive rainfall, flood water has entered in the remits of Civil Hospital and inside the houses located at Wahadat Colony, Joint Road, Shadman Road and Jan Muhammad Road.
