PESHAWAR: At least two persons were injured in three separate hand grenade attacks in Bannu, Khyber Agency and North Waziristan Agency on Wednesday.
According to official sources, unknown militants hurled a hand grenade outside the house of a police official, Rafiullah on D.I. Khan Road, Bannu and fled from scene. Rafiullah’s father sustained injuries in the blast and was shifted to District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
In another incident an explosion took place outside the house of personnel of Khassadar Force Amjad Khan in Keti de Bazar in Tehsil Jamrud of Khyber Agency. The blast partially damaged the main gate of the house however fortunately no casualty was reported.
In third incident unidentified militants attacked a school at Sarai Darpakhel in North Waziristan Agency with a hand grenade. One person was injured in the blast. The blast also damaged the main gate of the school.
