KABUL: A roadside bomb ripped through an Afghan army vehicle in southwestern Afghanistan on Sunday and killed seven soldiers, an official said.
The soldiers were travelling in the Dilaram district of Farah province when their vehicle was hit, saiddefence ministry spokesman General Zahir Azimi.
He gave no further details. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Afghan forces have been taking an increasing role in the fight against the Taliban as US-led NATO soldiers progressively pull out.
