PESHAWAR: At least nine people including three children were killed in firing incident which took place at Al-Sabah Amn Committee leader Israr Shah’s house located in Mashokhel area, Aaj News reported.
According to SSP operations head Najeeb-ur-Rehman, there were at least 10 to 15 militants who forcefully dragged all men and male children out from the house and tied their hands and legs and violently opened fire on them in which nine people were killed including three children aged eight, fourteen and sixteen years. Before escaping from the scene, the militants also threw several hand grenades at a Hujrah due to which the Hujrah was dismissed.
Najeeb-ur-Rehman also mentioned that two weeks back, we arrested some militants who belonged a group of Khyber Agency.
It is pertinent to know that the attack which took place at Israr Shah’s house who was a brother of Zafar Shah was killed two weeks back in an exchange of fire. Zafar Shah was also a leader of Amn Committee.
Neighbors and other family members refused to recite the last prayers of the victims and asked the Govt to take an immediate action regarding this incident.
