MOHENJO-DARO: Sindh Cultural Festival which began at the historical ruins of Mohenjo-Daro, would continue for 15 days, with enthralling performances, Aaj News reported.
According to the reports, inauguration ceremony was performed by Bilawal Butto Zaradari with Chief Minister of Sindh Qaim Ali shah and Provincial Minister.
Former president Asif Ali Zardari, former Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Faryal Talpur, Qamar Zaman Kaira, federal and provincial ministers, key government figures, PPP leaders, media persons, and foreign delegates attended the event.
Pakistan’s leading singers, including Rahat Fateh Ali and Annie, captivated the audience with their songs.
Meanwhile, 50 feet wide and long stage was set up and 400 seats were lined up for the VIP’S and foreigners who visited in this festival. Special passes were given for the entrance, 5000 security personnel were deployed at the venue.
Special historical documentaries were also a part of this event.
