KARACHI: ‘Deadlock’ between the Govt. and Taliban Committee persists even after nine days, whereas the Taliban committee has indirectly given a gesture to end the ‘deadlock’,Aaj News reported.
According to the sources, Govt. Committee does not want to end this dead lock due to the security threats the country is prevailing. The Govt. committee said that the recent incidents which includes the bomb blasts and specially the killing of FC officials are the main reason of not ending this ‘deadlock’.
On the other hand, Pakistan Army has been continuously raiding Taliban hideouts by airstrikes in which they have claimed to kill and damage some prominent leaders and hideouts of Taliban respectively.
Additionally, all prominent political parties including PML-N, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), Awami National Party (ANP) and now Tehreek-e-Insaaf has also come on a united ground with Army’s decision and Pakistan airstrikes on Taliban hideouts.
