HYDERABAD: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has opined that action should be taken against terrorists and there is no need of holding dialogues with them.
The minister expressed these remarks while talking to media persons after attending a reception hosted by Mir Sher Muhammad in his honour here at Tando Jam on Wednesday.
“We have no objection on dialogues with Taliban if the peace brought back through it but we were aware that terrorists would not accept the decisions of the dialogues”, the minister said and added that Taliban as well as the activists of banned organizations, terrorist and target killers have spread over the entire country and there is the need that nation should be united and fight against them.
The minister hoped that the federal government would soon take decision of taking stern action against terrorists in garbe of Taliban.
Responding to a question regarding operation in Karachi, the minister said that targeted operation in Karachi has been launched by Sindh Government with law enforcement agencies and not by PPP.
The targeted operation is being carried out successfully in Karachi as a numbers of notorious outlaws and terrorists have been arrested, the minister said and added that the Police, Rangers and security organizations are being targeted by the terrorist in retaliation.
He maintained that no political party or group has been hit during the targeted operation as it is in progress against those terrorists who kept the Karachi in hostage since last 30 years.
