KARACHI: Around 10 rallies, including main “Chup Taazia” procession, would be taken out with 11 majalis conducted in different parts of the city on Friday.

The Sindh Police chief ordered technical sweeping and clearance of all designated routes and congregation sites 24 hours prior to the beginning of processions and majalis.
Reiterating need to beef up security arrangements, the IG -Police said presence of bomb disposal squad and police contingents including plain clothed cops must also be ensured there.
Baloch said in view of high alert security vehicles with special permission, including stickers and passes, should only be granted access to the routes.
He also ordered surge in snap checking and patrolling around Imambargahs and Mosques besides other relevant public places in Karachi.
