Turkish Prime Minister’s visit to boost economic relations

The Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, an apex body of chambers in the country, Sunday said the visit of the Turkish Prime Minister to Pakistan will strengthen economic cooperation and further cement bilateral relations between the two countries.

President FPCCI Zubair Ahmad Malik and Vice President SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industries Pak chapter and veteran trade leader Iftikhar Ali Malik while talking to newsmen here today said that Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan along with a high powered delegation was visiting Pakistan from Monday which they said that would go a long way to enhance ecumenic ties and fortify bilateral relations.

They said the business community always attached great importance to the Turkish people, its private sector and close cooperation in the economic sector will help both countries to meet future challenges.

Iftikhar said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had offered an excellent package of incentives to attract foreign investors in various sectors especially in power and communication sectors.He said there was vast scope of foreign investment in Pakistan under the sagacious leadership of the Prime Minister.

He said Pakistan corporate and private sectors will extend all possible cooperation to Turkish entrepreneurs for help exploring investment avenues in various fields in Pakistan. He said that it was high time for both countries to progress together in every sphere of life for the welfare and prosperity of the people and development of the two countries.

Zubair said the FPCCI would facilitate Turkish investors for investment in their areas of interest and for setting up of joint ventures.He said that a high level delegation of FPCCI will also visit Turkey.
