FAISALABAD: The 137th birth anniversary of father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was celebrated here on Wednesday with enthusiasm and national spirit.
Special prayers were held in mosques after Fajr prayers. National flags were also flown at all principal government buildings to mark the birthday of the founder of Pakistan.
A number of functions were held to pay tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah who steered the Muslims of subcontinent during their historic struggle for an independent homeland.
Addressing a joint function organized at Madina Town to mark Quaid-e-Azam’s birthday, Christmas and birthday of Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif here on Wednesday, Mian Abdul Mannan, Member National Assembly (MNA), paid glowing tributes to the
founder of Pakistan. He said that the PML-N leadership was striving hard to steer the country out of crises and put Pakistan on road to progress and prosperity as envisioned
by the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Lauding the efforts of PML-N leadership, he said that it is the only political party which had turned the direction of national resources towards youths and poor classes of the society.
He said that PM Youth Business Loan Program would grab a mega investment of Rs 100 billion which will be helpful in stability of national economy.
Mian Abdul Mannan said that youth should take maximum advantage from PM Youth Business Loan Program in order to get their financial constraints resolved besides playing a pivotal role in the national progress and prosperity.
Local PML-N leaders Rana Asrar Ahmad, Rana Nawaz, Chairman Tahir Mehmood Butt, Rana Umar Nawaz, Shafiq Ahmad, Nazir Ahmad, Rafi Ullah Niazi and others were also present on the occasion.
