ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau has constituted prevention committee for reformation in Ministry of National Health Services Regulations and Coordination (NHSR&C) for elimination of corruption and corrupt practices from the ministry.
The mandate of the committee is to instruct and advise Ministry of National Health Services and attached offices to monitor the implementation of the instructions issued in order to achieve meritocracy, transparency, in all affairs and practices related to the NHSR&C.
The committee could also issue instructions and procedural reformations pertaining to the laws in force, rules and regulations, practices and procedures, procurement and pre-procurement in the ministry.
The committee consists of DG A&P Division, NAB as president and members include from Pakistan Medical & Dental Council,National Institute of Health, Federal Government hospitals and other organizations.
The Committee would also educate and advise holders of public office in the Ministry of National Health Services Regulations & Coordination Division (NHSR&C) including different Divisions of DRAP, PMDC, NIH, Directorate of Malaria Control and other related public and private sector and community at large on measures to combat corruption and corrupt practices.
The committee will submit progress report to Chairman NAB in form of recommendations formulated for consideration and execution by the relevant ministry/ regulator.
