KARACHI: The Chief Secretary Sindh, Sajjad Saleem Hotiana has called for evolving a fire safety management system to protect human lives and property.
He was speaking at a seminar on fire safety arrangements at a local hotel on Tuesday.
The seminar was organised under the auspices of the Fire Protection Association and national Forum for Environment and Health.
Hotiana was of the view that quick action was a must to help save the people in the case of nay fire incidents.
He pointed out that the government of Sindh is going to initiate a strategic plan for human service under which a system like that of the 1122 of the Punjab, is being studied.
