At least 100 killed in Aleppo air attacks

ISLAMABAD: The death toll has risen to 100, including children and women, from “barrel bomb” attacks staged by Syrian Air Force helicopters on various regions of Aleppo city on Sunday.

Editor-in-Chief of Shehba-Press Mamun Abu Omar has told the AA that the number of the dead stands at 100 in attacks that continued since the morning hours, Anadolu news agency reported.

Omar said many people are also trapped under the rubble of the collapsed buildings and the field hospital that is treating the wounded people is in urgent need of medical supplies as the wounded lose their lives due to lack of medical supplies.

Assad regime forces have been conducting “barrel bomb” attacks on different regions of Aleppo over the last two days.
