KABUL: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Saturday was given guard of honor as he reached the Presidential Palace to meet Afghan President Hamid Karzai. As he alighted from the car, Afghan President greeted him.
This followed the guard of honor by beautifully adorn contingents. Later, both the leaders introduced their delegations to each other respectively.
Prime Minister Sharif is visiting Afghanistan on the invitation of Hamid Karzai.
Prime Minister Sharif is accompanied by his Advisor on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi and Secretary Foreign Affairs Jalil Abbas Jilani and other officials.
Member National Assembly and Chairman Pakhtunkhawa Milli Awami Party Mahmood Khan Achakzai is also accompanying the Prime Minister.
The two leaders will hold in-depth consultations on all issues of common interest, including the evolving situation in the region and ways to further deepen and broaden Pakistan-Afghanistan bilateral relations in all dimensions.
