ISLAMABAD: Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has said that Hurriyet leadership is optimistic that the next government in New Delhi will understand the importance of resolution of the Kashmir dispute for establishing better relations between Pakistan and India.
The APHC Chairman was commenting on the recent statement of Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, that meaningful talks between Pakistan and India could be held only after polls in India, Kashmir Media Service reported.
The Mirwaiz in an interview in Srinagar said that the young leadership in India must realize the importance of resolution of the Kashmir dispute and should play an active part in it.
“We hope that whether it is BJP or the UPA, the next government in India will understand that Kashmir issue must be resolved so that there would be better relations between Pakistan and India,” he stated.
The APHC Chairman castigated the puppet administration over the rising corruption in the territory.
He said, the puppet authorities take everything with non-serious attitude and the outcome proves disastrous. “It is very unfortunate that the state machinery has completely failed to deliver on ground,” he added.
